Patrick Swayze is rumoured to be starring in another ‘Dirty Dancing’ sequel, as he continues to battle pancreatic cancer.

In less than two weeks, the stars will shake and shimmy on “Dancing With the Stars!” But before the hit ABC show waltzes into your living room, we’re giving you a peek of the “Dancing Stars” and their ever-so-talented dance partners.

The inaugural event of the year, Dare to Dance, is set for Sept. 6. Ten local celebrities will put on their dancing shoes and strut their stuff alongside professional Fred Astaire dancers for the Saturday night spectacular.

The cast of “Dancing With the Stars” hasn’t been announced yet, but one person who won’t be discoing up a storm is former veep Dan Quayle. He reportedly said no to the show.

Patrick Swayze has reportedly been approached to star in a sequel to his hit 1987 movie Dirty Dancing.

“I can tell you that he is not doing the show,” Quayle spokesman Craig Whitney told The Indianapolis Star in a Wednesday report. The former U.S. Vice President was reported to be on “the short list” of celebrity participants being courted by ABC for Dancing with the Stars’ seventh season.
